Children’s Living Science Center

The Children’s Living Science Center at the North 60 will have several goals and functions:

  • Create a dynamic, interactive, educational programming that sparks a passion for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) education in young learners
  • Focus on the most important elements to improve the health of children and adults
  • Help everyone to understand the most prevalent diseases, illnesses and accidents and how to prevent/minimize their impact
  • Serve as valuable resource for local school districts to enrich the learning experience for their students
  • Offer awards and and contests to further promote STEAM pursuits in local schools
  • Provide employment and job-training opportunities for non-college bound high school seniors and juniors
